Chandler Macleod is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Trade Assistants with experience in a metal manufacturing environment.

You must be team oriented, show initiative, be able to follow instructions and must be reliable. If you live central or north of the river this is preferred.

This role would suit someone who has a good understanding of a steel manufacturing environment and has the ability to read plans and drawings.

You will have:

  • Experience using a variety of basic hand tools in a similar role
  • Experience assisting boilermakers and welders
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings
  • Be physically fit as manual handling tasks are required
  • A current drivers licence
  • High Risk work licence with Forklift (LF), Dogging (DG) and Crane classes are highly regarded

This role will be for a minimum of 4 weeks and may go longer depending on job requirements at the time, the successful candidate to pass a pre-employment medical/drug & alcohol screen.
