One of our clients, a well-known entity in the Western Australian Mining Industry, is seeking the services of an experienced Construction Lead to join the Chandler Macleod Team on their Site within the Track Renewals department.

The main duties of this role include:

  • Development of proposals and work packages to enable the safe completion of track renewals scope of works.
  • Coordination of the Track Renewals work bank to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Management of track renewal methodologies to improve the safety and efficiency, and reduce the cost of, renewals works.
  • Develop and sustain a strong safety and collaborative culture

    Successful candidates will have the following experience:
  • Demonstrated experience in construction and execution planning (experience with track maintenance/renewal works desirable)
  • Risk management in execution works (track works desirable)
  • Track Renewal/Construction and or maintenance practices/methodologies
  • Sound knowledge of Railroad Operating Rules and industry standards (safety and quality)
  • Good planning skills and the ability to oversee projects to successful completion
  • Work management practices
  • Demonstrated field-based supervision

    Candidates must also be able to:
  • Provide a current full West Australian "C" class motor vehicle license or current equivalent Australian State motor vehicle license.
  • Provide a construction management/planning qualification (Track construction highly desirable)
  • Pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug Screen
