Technical Internal Sales Representative
Permanent Full Time role
Location: Silverwater, Sydney

Chandler Macleod is proud to partner with our client who are a leading global company within the Industrial space. They pride themselves on providing tailor-made solutions and services to their customers to keep their industries in motion.

Our client is moving into their next phase and are now seeking a dynamic Technical Internal Sales Representative to assist with this growth.

Role Description
Promote and grow sales by proactively providing solutions, services and products to both internal and external stakeholders. Create a superior customer experience, develop long -term trusted relationships and ensure full dedication by putting customer needs first. The person will be dedicated to the task full time.

Mains tasks and responsibilities
  • Proactively promote and grow sales across a dedicated portfolio of potential and existing customers within an assigned customer base
  • Provision of accurate quotations to customers with quotation follow-ups within a timely manner
  • Manage/process all inbound enquiries from new and existing customers, and provide proactive outbound interaction to develop existing customers and capture new opportunities
  • Support and assist the Technical Manager as per required
  • Support customers with technical assistance through the guidance of the technical manager
  • Collaborate with corresponding key account managers to achieve common goals set for the team
  • Act as conduit between Customers, Workshop, Customer Care and Accounts Departments
  • Leverage all available systems (Email, phone, MS Teams, CRM, SAP) as key sales development tools to capture, track and manage new and existing customer relationships & commercial activities
  • Maintain knowledge of products, services, and industry segments, in line with organisational direction & strategies
  • In addition prospect, create brand awareness, convert opportunities and expand Australian customer base
  • Participate in ongoing training and monthly meeting as directed by management

Education and experience
  • Technical discipline/experience is advantageous
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in sales (internal or external)
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written is a must

  • Ability to execute outbound sales calls, prospecting for new customers and penetrating markets/ customers through a non-physical presence
  • Dedication towards learning and understanding the required specific industry segments
  • Proactive and realistic approach towards problem resolution
  • Be absolutely service orientated and have a hands-on mentality
  • Results driven - Strong track record in driving and delivering results
