We are currently recruiting for up to 3 Technical Officers for our client, a well regarded Community Housing organisation based in the North Shore on a permanent basis. The position is a level 5 on the Schads awards with a salary package of $85k + super and salary packaging (package value is up to $102k).

The role:
The Technical Officer is responsible for ensuring the delivery and quality of planned maintenance, modifications and void maintenance work with the purpose of minimising void times, ensuring all work is completed in line with relevant legal and regulatory requirements, safety and client satisfaction is maintained.

You will be responsible for:

  • Scoping work to be completed
  • Managing the relationship with contractors to rectify incomplete/unsatisfactory work
  • Keeping accurate and timely records and contracts in the relevant systems
  • Complying with WHS obligations and building codes and standards

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

  • Experience of working in a similar role within government/social housing or within the disability sector
  • NSW's Driver's license with your own car
  • White Card
  • Trade Qualification and/or Tertiary Qualifications in Building and Construction or Asset Management
