Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage a Team Leader - Talent Acquisition Officers on a non-ongoing or ongoing position.

The skills we are looking for in these roles are as follows:

  • Lead and drive talent acquisition
  • Analysing and reporting on data to inform of future recruitment strategies
  • Coordinating with hiring managers and senior staff to identify resourcing needs
  • Determining and advising on selection criteria.
  • Sourcing potential candidates through online channels (e.g. social platforms and professional networks.)
  • Assess candidate information, including resumes and contact details, using our Applicant Tracking System
  • Design and advise our business areas on job descriptions and interview questions that reflect each position's requirements
  • Lead employer branding initiatives
  • Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events
  • Forecast quarterly and annual hiring needs by department
  • Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candida
  • Provide innovative, fit for purpose solutions to influence decision making
  • Actively engage clients to share our combined knowledge and experience
  • Be the first point of contact for HR policy advice with particular specialism in Recruitment.
  • Support and build a HR capability within Recruitment across the department
  • Create and drive attraction strategies
  • Find innovative ways to increase diversity

The team leader also lead a high performing team, shape strategic direction, conversation and enact change, including providing tools, guidance and support to supervisors in staff management.

Other requirements of the positions are:

  • Australian Citizen
  • Be of good character and integrity
  • Be able to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting Level 1 Security Clearance
