We're looking for a Collections Team Leader to join our client’s dynamic and growing team!

As the Collections Team Leader, you'll be responsible for leading a team of collections agents to achieve performance targets and deliver outstanding customer service.

You'll work closely with the operations and management teams to develop and implement strategies to improve the collections processes and optimise results.

To be successful in this role, you'll need to have strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire your team to achieve their goals.
You should also have excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with customers, stakeholders, and colleagues.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading and motivating a team of 5-10 collections agents to achieve performance targets
  • Developing and implementing strategies to optimise collections processes and results
  • Monitoring and analysing performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
  • Conducting regular coaching and training sessions to support the development of your team
  • Building positive relationships with customers, stakeholders, and colleagues

Requirements:
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in collections or a related field
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Certificate III of Financial Services
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Exposure to insurance and/or collections (desired)
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office
