A rare opportunity is on offer for Tax Specialist within the Client Engagement and Law Design and Practice Groups for one of our key clients.

Client Engagement Tax Specialists:

The key focus of the Client Engagement Tax specialist role will be to engage with corporate clients and provide detailed, technical tax and policy advice. You will be reviewing complex tax issues and identifying key tax risks across a portfolio of areas and projects.
You will possess a considerable level of stakeholder engagement gained across the corporate tax space and be able to work under limited direction.
It would be ideal if you are experienced in coaching and leading a small operational team and able to review work undertaken by others in a work group.

Law Design and Practice, Review and Dispute Tax Specialists:

You will be responsible for managing and determining taxpayer objections, disputes and reviews. You will engage in dispute resolution approaches and early resolution and prevention.
Stakeholder management in response to these sensitive issues is a key factor of the role, and you will be accountable to undertake this as part of a team and autonomously.
In part of this role, you may be a team coach or lead a small operational team.

About you:

You will be highly competent in the areas of taxation, superannuation, legislative and financial environments, understanding economic performance tax and corporate governance together with risk management.

You will be able to build strong and professional relationships across stakeholders and deliver clearly key issues and desired outcomes. You will use your experience and expertise to exercise sound judgment in relation to tax disputes, applying tax laws to mitigate risk and resolve complex issues. Must be an Australian Citizen.
