Our WA client is seeking to engage a Support Officer – Water Use Investigations on a temporary basis, Full time Position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct investigations into metering and water use disputes and anomalies and advise customers of outcomes.
  • Participate to enhance the performance of key corporate customer related business processes through effective implementation of best practice systems and reporting structures to facilitate improved customer focus and service delivery.
  • Participate in building effective teams, team communication processes, and team commitment to continuous development and improvement.
  • Investigate and resolve customer and internally generated enquiries in relation to metering and water use charges
  • Investigate and resolve contentious and complex water use enquiries
  • Provide specialist information to customers on metering, water use, billing, and water efficiency
  • Provide specialist advice to regional staff and contractors on customer and metering functions.
  • Liaise with plumbers and owners in order to validate information relating to leak allowance applications
  • Liaise with various stakeholders to ensure thorough investigation and prompt resolution of issues
  • Identify potential system improvements
  • Maintain updates of metering and water use information on the Corporation’s computer systems
  • Monitor key performance indicators and maintain statistical information, registers, and data bases, and prepare reports as required
  • Undertake projects in the investigation and analysis of issues confronting the area of responsibility
Key Capabilities
  • Experience in a large commercially focussed organisation providing customer related services
  • Experience and demonstrated capability of working in a customer accounting business environment
