Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage a Supply Chain and Engineering Asset Management Consultant on a contract for 10 months with potential extension.

Position Overview

Services will consist of, but are not limited to:

  • Proactively communicate with and collaborate with Defence ERP team and internal HQJOC stakeholders.
  • Act as a liaison between the HQJOC business functions and the technical team. Provide ad-hoc training and user support as required. Facilitate the implementation and support of the processes associated with SAP Financials and procurement activities.
  • Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions; identify, interpret, validate and document any HQJOC requirements
  • Facilitate workshops with internal HQJOC business stakeholders to drive change management aspects of the Finance and Procurement activities
  • Map client business requirements, processes and objectives; identify gaps, issues and work around solutions as required to ensure business continuity and readiness for ERP.
  • Act as liaison with client for troubleshooting: investigate, analyse, and solve business process problems.
  • Assist in document functional business processes, test cases and results. Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements for efficiencies.
  • Develop a training needs analysis and ensure training is delivered to internal HQJOC stakeholders for all activities associated with Financials and Procurement
  • Work self-directed and independently; may act as subject matter mentor to HQJOC stakeholders of the ERP system to be adopted.
  • Very good communication and presentation skills are Mandatory.
