Strategy Development - Assistant Director and Directors - National Government Agency

About the role:


As part of the Strategy Development team you will have strategic, political, and operational impacts through analysis, insight and development of strategy policies, priorities and operational practices. You will play a key role in ensuring the Agencies mission is achieved through initiating and designing key projects and work programs of a complex and sensitive nature.
As the Director you will make an impact by supporting the Board and Executive Team through high-quality strategic decisions that drive benefits for participants, their families and carers.

The Assistant Director will play a key support to this function to this tthrough analysis and insight development and the communication of compelling strategic decisions that drive benefits for participants, their families and carers.
The decisions you help deliver will shape the Agency for years to come.

What will your duties include?

The Assistant Director and Directors will work together to perform a range of duties including:

  • Solving agency problems that matter
  • Collaboration to provide strategic insight
  • Engage with senior leaders
  • Develop unique insights
  • Ensure delivery of Corporate plans
  • Write compelling communications

What will you bring to the role?

  • 2-4+ years in strategy development, ideally at a Tier 1 strategy firm
  • Track record of leading strategic projects that deliver insightful and actionable recommendations
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams
  • Established personal tool-kit to cut through organisational complexity and ambiguity
  • Emotional intelligence in working with stakeholders and leaders at all levels of the organisation
  • Willing to get your hands dirty where required
  • Experience of living with disability desirable

you MUST be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident with eligibility to clear a Baseline Government Clearance to be successful in this role
