Our Client is in the process of recruiting to fill a full time position of Store Manager to oversee their new clothing store.

Working under the direction of the Hub Manager, the Store Manager will be responsible for the day to day operations of the store to create and maintaining a profitable retail outlet

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well respected not-for-profit organisation who provide crucial services to the community.

The daily duties of the Store Manager will include:

  • Manage and grow profitability
  • Attract, induct, train and manage shop assistants and volunteers on the day to day basis
  • Meeting targets and managing controllable expenses
  • Oversight of logistics including donation collection and deliveries to internal and external customers
  • Team development
  • Providing appropriate management, training, supervision and guidance to all staff and volunteers
  • Inventory control, stock take and stock pricing
  • Managing WHS

    To be successful in this role, the Store Manager will have:
  • Significant experience in retail management including merchandising, staffing, meeting budgets and customer relations
  • Clear and effective communication skills with the ability to build trust and respect
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills including conflict resolution
  • The ability to develop and maintain a team with a high level of customer service and the ability to effectively meet organisational goals
  • The ability to work autonomously and prioritise your workload and the workload of others
  • Cultural sensitivity and diversity awareness
  • Experience working in a not-for-profit organisation (desirable)
