Chandler Macleod are excited to be partnering with our client who specialises in Home and Cleaning Solutions as we are currently seeking an experienced State Sales Manager to join a well-established global company based in Broadmeadows on a full time permanent basis.

This role is to commence ASAP with a competitive salary on offer of $135K plus super, plus car, plus part of a bonus scheme (20%)

**To be successful in this role, you MUST have specific industry experience.

We are seeking a candidate who is experienced in leadership as well as reporting and forecasting. Must be competent with reports to be considered.

With 5 direct reports and reporting in to the General Manager/Commercial Director Professional, the role holder is responsible for the delivery of defined sales, profit and operational targets in line with company objectives

* Key Responsibilities

  • Lead state sales team to achieve defined sales and profit objectives. Monitor state/individual sales and profit performance and take corrective action where needed
  • Coach and develop sales team to implement strategic plans (call activity, end-user focus, new product focus) and manage individual performance reviews
  • Maintain up to date customer and sales team activity/opportunity management through use of SAP C4C system
  • Implement annual price increase to customers and ensure accurate maintenance of system pricing for own customers
  • Provide supply planners with accurate forward forecasts and support the organisation to minimise slow moving and obsolete inventories
  • Manage trading term contracts of own customers
  • Demonstrate OHSE leadership, ensure relevant legal and company requirements are met
  • Implement a positive team culture based on trust and our client's values

    * Professional Experience and Education
  • 5 years+ experience in customer facing sales roles
  • 5 years+ experience in a leadership role
  • Experience in competitive industrial markets
  • Relevant tertiary qualification preferred

    * Specific skills and knowledge
  • Proven experience in leading sales teams including activity planning and follow-up
  • Role holder should have strong leadership skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong capabilities across all Microsoft Office programs especially excel, and PowerPoint
