Our client is one of Australia's largest energy infrastructure businesses who are proud of their performance and delivery to customers. Due to a period of growth they have created a new opportunity based out of their Mount Waverley office in Victoria.

Our client is looking for a Stakeholder Marketing Representative with experience within the energy industry. Ideally you will have experience working within the Retail Gas sector however candidates with other industry experience are welcome to apply.

The Stakeholder Marketing Representative will be responsible for providing support to the development, coordination and implementation of industry stakeholder and marketing initiatives that have a positive impact on the growth and retention of our client's network customers. This will include co-ordination of marketing programmes with appliance retailers and gasfitters and promotion of other programmes and Social Media initiatives.
This role will be expected to market our client's products to key influencers in the market such as appliance retailers and gas fitters. The role will also provide local marketing support to the Business Development team and be present to assist stakeholders with enquiries to ensure customer connections are facilitated in a timely manner.

Event coordination will also be present in this role therefore experience hosting and coordinating events will be highly regarded. The successful candidate will work closely with key industry contacts to maximise opportunities to promote products to the residential market through liaison and coordinating campaigns with other stakeholders.

Essential skills required:

  • Experience creating and implementing marketing initiatives such as campaigns, advertisements and events
  • Experience maintaining a Marketing Database
  • Demonstrated experience working collectively with other areas of a business to ensure end to end process is understood
  • High level of communication skills
  • Experience working on projects
  • Intermediate working knowledge of MS Office
  • Current Drivers Licence (Car)
  • Previous working experience within the construction or energy industry
  • Be self-motivated and be able to self-manage


Desirable qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in either Marketing, Advertising or Communications
  • Minimum of 3 years administration and/or customer service experience
  • Understanding of the natural gas process


This role will involve networking and fostering of important relationships therefore the right candidate will be confident and engaging and be able to communicate with customers both internal and external to the business. There will be an expectation to provide exemplary customer service to those that this position will engage with.


There will be some travel around Melbourne in this position and there will be a need to be flexible to travel occasionally interstate.
