About the role
We are partnering one of Australia's leading resources companies, to secure the services of a Specialist SME responsible for deploying maintenance strategies for fixed plant equipment, and for providing a strong, effective and good practice planning service to support successful project delivery. This assignment will cover a period of 12 months, Monday to Friday based at their CBD head office facilities. Joining the Maintenance and Engineering Centre of Excellence, the successful candidate will have:

  • Experience in the practical application of maintenance strategies to meet risk, cost and operating envelope objectives.
  • Ability to form business, do cost benefit analysis.
  • Proficiency in SAP
  • Demonstrated understanding of master data structures/architecture and configuration.
  • Experience developing maintenance documentation (WINs, PMIs, etc)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to engage with and influence a wide range of stakeholders
  • Extensive experience in fixed plant planning gained on-site within the resources industry
  • Prior planning in materials handling | shutdowns | SMP & E&I construction

Ideal candidates must also hold the following prerequisites:

  • Trade qualification in Mechanical Engineering | Fitting | Plant Maintenance
  • SAP experience essential
  • Provide a current Drivers Licence
