Our client is seeking to engage a Sous Chef on a permanent, Full Time position.
Position Overview
As an ideal applicant, you will have:
  • Support the Head Chef role, through under direction, ordering supplies in line with kitchen budgets, and maintain through portion control and good management.
  • Delivery of core trading hours, functions and events through general opening.
  • Deliver all prep work.
  • Maintain consistency in meal preparation and plating, apply knowledge of wine matching, high level health and safety awareness, meet all food safety regulations, monitoring and logging food safety processes, stock rotation and inspection.
  • Covering head chef for any leave ensuring the kitchen is ran and maintained at the same ongoing standard.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise workload.
  • High cooking standards with an attention to detail.
  • High level of interpersonal, communication and team work skill.
    Please note this is a full-time role and you must have full unrestricted working rights for this position with no visa conditions.

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Evening shift
  • Public holidays
  • Weekend availability
    Licence/Certification:
  • Food Safety Supervisors Certificate (Preferred)
    Work Authorisation:
  • Australia (Preferred)
