Chandler Macleod is working with a large mining company who currently have an employment opportunity for an experienced Site Project Administrator, for a temporary position located in Tanami on a 2/2 roster to start as soon as possible.

The purpose of this role is to report in to the Construction Manager to provide administrative and technical and clerical support to the Project Team.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

* Manage, coordinate 2 contractors to ensure all site access requirements are adhered to
* Coordinate mobilisation / demobilisation of cntractors
* Provide training and support to contractors
* Caryy out training and induction bookings.
* Managing TA requests, cancellations and roster changes
* Management of rosters, flights accomodation and other travel requests
* Assist with the execution of contingency plans

* Coordinate meetings / Webex / Calenders / Workshops as well as providing any additional support with equipment that may be required.

* Prepare and distribute agendas, minutes and other documentation within the company's guidelines, attend meetings (as required) and record minutes and action items to be issued.

* Obtain, Update and Email OHS Statistics, Reportable Data, Registers for the weekly updates and monthly reports

* Engage in site team sharing information sessions, providing appropriate feedback or responses

* Liaise with personnel, contractors and consultants to build positive working relationships

* Onboarding of any new personnel, including Inductions, Workstation set up and any other adhoc requirements for the position

* Source and purchase office equipment / stationary

* Provide IT support through the Hub, raising tickets for new equipment or issues to be resolved

Skills required:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Administrator in the Mining / Resource Industry
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Intermediate skills in Adobe Pro, Visio, Outlook
  • SAP Experience is desirable
  • Previous experience / understanding of contract and procurement services
  • A working knowledge of business management systems and document control processes
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with a can do attitude
  • Well-developed organisational and competent time management skills
  • Proven ability to work under pressure, prioritising workloads to meet expectations and deadlines.
  • Professional discretion with great interpersonal verbal and written communication skills
  • Exposure to INX software an advantage but not required.
  • Previous experience working with large execution projects.
