We are currently seeking an experienced Site Maintenance Manager for an exciting opportunity (12 months contract), with our client at the Macarthur Wind Farm in western Victoria.
 
 The successful candidate will be responsible for contractor management ensuring reliability improvement initiatives and large maintenance outages are planned, executed, and lead effectively.
 
Responsibilities include:
  • Ensure that all Health, Safety and Environment Systems and goals are communicated and adhered to while meeting client’s policies and standards for HSE management.
  • Work with site contractors, engineering and third-party support vendors to drive implementation of improvement initiatives
  • Manage the delivery of maintenance services, ensure that assets are managed within fixed budget and develop and track appropriate KPI’s to ensure optimal performance of maintenance services by contractors.
  • Form strong working relationships with financial stakeholders, regulatory bodies, market operators, and network service providers.
  • Work in partnership with client’s key O&M contractors to ensure that wind and storage assets are maintained and operated in alignment with business requirements
  • Provide input into the development of Asset Management Plans and Maintenance Plans as required internally and for external stakeholders.
 
Qualifications and experience
  • 8+ experience in power generation, renewables, or other heavy industry
  • Experience in projects, construction, maintenance planning and works management
  • Understanding of maintenance planning, field execution and supervision principles
  • Understanding of Asset Management principles.
  • Understanding of Work Management principles such as PTW, LOTO, SWMS, JSEA.
  • Experience in wind farms an advantage
  • Electrical trade or engineering qualification an advantage
