About the role
We are partnering with a renowned organisation, to secure the services of an experienced professional to perform the role of Shutdown Optimisation Specialist. This is a Perth-based role within the Asset Management - Fixed Plant team that is responsible for delivering a coordinated business approach to system development and process alignment for fixed plant shutdown activities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Manage the shutdown management system scope (web application & reporting suite)
    o Support roll out of Stage 1 system across all sites
    o Coordinate cross-site stakeholder feedback and align business priorities for subsequent development work
    o Project manage development team (application, data engineering, tableau) for delivery of Stage 2 product
  • Explore opportunities to leverage technology for improved execution management and coordinate subsequent product trials and implementation
  • Engage continuously with key site stakeholders to drive process consistency through shutdown planning, scheduling & reporting
  • Implement targeted shutdown front end process and system improvement initiatives
  • Develop training packages for internal shutdown personnel

    To be successful in this role, you will require the following work experience:
  • 10+ years industry experience
  • Experience in shutdown business improvement activities
  • Strong understanding of shutdown planning & scheduling: process and technical
  • Strong SAP knowledge
  • SQL familiarity/proficiency highly regarded

    Ideal candidates must also hold the following prerequisites:
  • Provide a current National Police Clearance or be willing to obtain one
  • Provide a current Drivers Licence
