About the Role:
Developing a comprehensive understanding of policies and processes, this role will allow you to develop your skillset within the APS space, fostering engagement and relationship management values. You will be a primary liaison contact between various specialised departments and the broader community. This is a great opportunity for anyone with previous government experience and excellent customer service skills looking to progress their career.

Key duties:

  • Deliver excellent customer service by providing high quality nationally consistent advice on people-related matters using the knowledge database
  • Liaise with staff using telephone and e-mail to provide accurate and timely advice on people related matters
  • Resolve complex technical and/or sensitive queries escalated from the team
  • Prepare and escalate sensitive or multifaceted people related matters to the team


About you:

  • You will ideally have experience working with government policy and OHS practices
  • You will ideally have had exposure to HR systems and HR policies
  • You will have extensive customer service experience
  • You will strong IT skills
  • You will be a team player

Benefits:

  • ASAP Start (pending federal clearance)
  • 6 Month Temporary Assignment
  • Monday to Friday, full time hours (8.30-17.00)
