Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage a Service Level Manager and Business Impact Management on a contract for 12 Months, with potential extensions of 12 months.

Position Overview

Provide Service Level Management and Business Impact Management Support to the Service Assurance Lead in the following areas:

  • Performance Management and Reporting Support;
  • Risk Governance;
  • Procurement Governance;
  • Project Management;
  • Continuous Service Improvement initiatives.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and measure the benefits realised and the value delivered by Partners against cost outlay, including defining and managing dashboards, balanced score cards, and Key Performance Indicators (KPI);
  • Perform all work to standards set by governance, senior executives within client, Whole of Australian Government requirements or the direction of auditors;
  • Focus on optimisation of performance, including determination of capabilities, integration into teams, allocation of tasks, direction, support, guidance and management of performance will provide insight into value delivered by suppliers;
  • Achieve standardisation work packages offered by different suppliers, achieving integration with Organisational Change Management and Communications and other services to improve performance, service uptake and consistency;
  • Establish and implement performance management measures;
  • Establish and implement performance management reporting processes for Service Delivery Function Business Manager (SDFBM) to measure progress;
  • Manage expectations and reports on performance management of suppliers to senior stakeholders and other interested stakeholders;
  • Work collaboratively with the SDFBM's to analyse and monitor suppliers;
  • Participate in formal negotiations when required with Vendors;
  • Monitor and measure the benefits realised by the I&CF and the value delivered by Partners against cost outlay;
  • Collate data and prepare reports regarding sustainment spend, performance and compliance.

Our Ideal Candidate will have:

  • Knowledge and experience of ITIL and service delivery frameworks
  • Knowledge and experience of Project Management frameworks
  • Experience operating and reporting to standards set by governance teams and senior executives within a Government setting requirements or auditors regarding sustainment spend, performance and general policy and procedure compliance.
  • Experience with Transition into Service of capabilities, integration of teams, support, guidance and management of suppliers to deliver to agreed performance measures.
  • Formal Qualifications in ITIL, Project Management, Bachelor of IT or similar;
  • Five years' experience within a vendor/service supplier environment;
  • Demonstrated experience in the areas of benefits realisation preferably within a government environment;
  • Demonstrated experience managing 'Performance Management and Reporting' within a Supplier / Vendor environment.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • The successful candidate will be required to have an NV1 clearance.
