We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Workforce Planning Consultant for a large company. The role presents a fantastic opportunity for an insight into the company and what they do.

    Key responsibilities:
  • Defining, developing, implementing and managing an agreed Workforce Strategy
  • Lead the design and implementation of an enterprise level workforce strategy and planning model, including processes, programs, initiatives and toolkits, for use throughout the company
  • Lead consultation / facilitate briefings and workshops with Formal Leaders (including SLT / Executive) across the company to facilitate identification of key Workforce Planning issues for the business and to engage support for implementation of key initiatives.
  • Proactively analyse and monitor key plans, performance outcomes and risks at an organisation and business client level to identify strategies and initiatives to successfully facilitate the development of the companies Workforce Plan
  • Conduct reviews of organisational structure and governance structures to maintain alignment with organisational and workforce strategies
  • Accountable for being the definitive source of knowledge and expertise (acting as the subject matter expert) for workforce planning portfolio including business process, technical information and industry resource
  • Influence business "buy-in" and support to achieve respective initiative outcomes
  • Act as the "go-to" and definitive resource for support in resolving complex issues through providing SME technical and functional specialisation, guidance and support

    Requirements for the role:
  • Extensive and broad demonstrated experience in Strategic Workforce Planning within a complex operational environment and/or development of organisational level strategy
  • Experience in project management principles and application are desirable but not essential
  • Prior experience in developing / implementing workforce planning systems and process
  • Demonstrated experience in planning and executing projects/programs
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, develop and coordinate other professionals
  • Ability to identify, manage and escalate risks and issues, specific to the position
  • Excellent Stakeholder engagement skills
  • Working understanding of the complexities of Utilities and the energy industry landscape is desirable
