With a head office at Gold Coast and further offices across the state, our client serves a growing client list of leading residential builders, industrial and commercial development companies, government and urban land authorities, developers, and architects.

The Senior Structural Engineer will join an existing team working on a range of projects.


  • Delivery of technically accurate, cost effective and optimum designs in accordance with Australian standards
  • Assist is the leading and managing of structural engineering tasks in accordance with scope, schedule, budget and procedures to ensure successful project completion
  • Contribute to innovative and technical improvement projects and designs
  • Mentor the structural team and provide technical guidance to junior staff members
  • Provide leadership in the absence of the Managing Director
  • Assist with client management, engagement, and growth
  • Exposure to Business operations of the department

About You:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification - ideally Bachelor Civil Engineering
  • Master's Degree in Structural Engineering would be advantageous
  • Must have local working experience and sound knowledge of Queensland legislative requirements, standards and practices.
  • Experience managing and delivering projects within the time frame and to budget
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong hands-on working knowledge and experience of structural analysis software
