About the Opportunities
A new position is currently avialble for a Senior Research Officer to join the Research and Evaluation Branch who are responsible for improving evidence based decision making within the Organisation.
As the successful applicant you will play a vital role in this team using your research and evaluation skills to find solutions to high priority issues in the delivery of services and supports and drive and shape national and international research in to disability.

The duties of the role

  • a systematic review of the theoretical and intervention evidence around community and social participation for people with Autism, intellectual and psychosocial disability;
  • preparation of internal report , including slide-pack summary for stakeholders, Prepare recommendations based upon the findings
  • producing trustworthy information for decision-making by conducting or commissioning research and evaluation to address business priorities
  • Conduct research and analysis activities in support of new policy.
  • Develop and manage project plans, including evaluation reporting.
  • Perform independent research work and analysis including the preparation of draft reports on relevant program activities and/or project milestones

What you will bring to the role

  • Previous research and evaluation experience in the Disability or Public Sector space is highly regarded
  • Proven expertise in qualitative and quantitative research processes and methodology
  • You will have a passion and drive for improving the lives of individuals with Disability
  • you must be eligible to clear a National Police check and be an Australian Citiezn or Permanent resident to be successful in this position.
