Our Client is an internationally diverse civil construction and engineering company that focuses on bringing advanced technologies and innovative solutions to their Clients and the broader communities.

We are currently recruiting to fill an exciting career opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced Senior Project Engineer.

With the project located in Dumaresq, the successful candidate must be willing to travel, with accommodation and meals provided for by the Client.

Demonstrating your leadership experience on civil site works, you will be primarily responsible for:

  • Coordinating and administering construction engineering activities to ensure that projects are implemented in accordance with plans, designs, and specifications
  • Continuously building and fostering outstanding working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Adhering to and ensuring the compliance of Safety & Environmental requirements and Quality Assurance
  • Efficiently developing and implementing Work Method Statements, Inspection Test Plans, and related documentation
  • Monitoring the progress of project expenditure including management of variations, progress claims, and extensions of time
  • Adhering to financial and month end reporting as well as procurement
  • Ensuring timely review and approval of supplier and subcontractor invoices and progress claims

    With a proven track record of civil projects in the Australian market, you will ideally have experience within electrical work services, high voltage areas, airport works and RMS services.

    You will feel comfortable and capable working on projects of up to $10M and have a strong understanding of project control.

    To excel in this role, you will:
  • Have a Tertiary Qualification in Civil Engineering and/or Construction Management (mandatory)
  • Have previous leadership experience on civil site works
  • Have experience in development and compliance of QA/QC processes
  • Be a strong communicator
  • Possess strong project management fundamentals
  • Have full work rights in Australia

    Please note that travel is an essential part of this position with projects secured both locally and regionally. In addition to an excellent salary package on offer, all accommodation and meals will be provided for.
