Chandler Macleod is seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer for our client based in Wingfield, SA.
Our client, a leader in steel fabrication and manufacturing, is offering a full-time permanent role with excellent benefits and growth opportunities.

About the role:
As a Senior Project Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of completed works on various projects. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will build relationships with key stakeholders, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure the project outcomes are executed within the contractual obligations and timeframes. The commercial success of the project is your priority, and you will work to ensure that projects are delivered within budget, deadlines, and specifications of the client’s requirements and completed to the highest standards.

Key Accountabilities include:
• Provide leadership, direction, and organization to all site personnel and sub-contractors.
• Read and interpret plans and specifications accurately and contribute strong technical knowledge across all trades and services.
• Provide solutions and continuous improvement initiatives during construction.
• Lead by example in regard to compliance with safety, health, quality, and environmental regulations and procedures.
• Monitor workshop fabrication.
• Manage overall project quality.
• Manage project WHS requirements.
• Coordinate site labour and equipment.
• Manage client relationships.

Essential Employment Criteria:
• Experience in delivering structural steel, piping, and metalwork projects.
• Knowledge of steel workshop drawings and construction drawings.
• Experience with site-based projects.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to lead a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Driver's license.
• Construction Induction White Card.
• A proven track record in delivering profitable contracts, contract management, and cost management, as well as MS Project/P6 experience is essential.

This role is based in Wingfield, with the occasional requirement to attend site locations in South Australia for periods during the project installation phases.
