A fantastic opportunity for a motivated Senior Project Coordinator to join a Tier 1 Mining company based in the Perth CBD with occasional requirement to visit the site.
The role of the Project Coordinator is to plan, organize, and direct the activities of a project team to ensure successful completion of a project. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the project from conception to completion, including developing project plans, tracking progress, and ensuring that goals are met within the established timeframe and budget. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills and be able to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills and be able to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate all phases of the project, from initial site selection and exploration through to construction, production, and completion
- Identification and supervision of project risks, communicating risks to relevant stakeholders and recognizing solutions
- Ensure all safety procedures and standards are followed in the workplace
- Lead and motivate a high performing team to reach KPI’s and targets for the project
- Manage the budget, scheduling and performance of contractors and other personnel involved in the project
- Monitor progress of the project and report to senior management on any issues or variances
- Liaise with external stakeholders such as regulatory bodies, suppliers, and customers to ensure project compliance and successful completion
- Monitor and review safety and environmental standards and ensure they are met
- Prepare and submit project reports to senior management.
- Ensure all legal and regulatory requirements are met
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- 10 + years of experience in project management and 5 + years in leadership
- Experience in Mining and Brown fields construction is highly desired
- HSEC skills
- Management reporting
Qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering - Mechanical is highly preferred
- Project management qualification
