Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage an APS6 Senior Leasing Administrator on a contract for 12 Months, with potential extension.

Key duties/tasks

  • Support the Director and Assistant Directors with the delivery of the property leasing function, in consultation with key stakeholders, Property Branch (all Directors and National Manager), the market place and the outsourced property service provider.
  • Oversight outsourced property service provider performance and outcomes relating to data management achieved under the Property Services Contract scope relating to leasing, including providing accurate leasing data and reporting, closely monitoring critical dates reporting, assessing commercial outcomes and ensuring accurate reporting of data within all necessary of the Agency's leasing data sources, achievement of deadlines and compliance with Commonwealth requirements.
  • Liaise and communicate with internal and external stakeholders as appropriate.
  • Assist with the implementation and management of the leasing database, ensuring all essential data is accurately populated and maintained.
  • Assist with the preparation of all reporting requirements relating to the leasing portfolio.
  • Assist with lease document reviews to ensure accurate recording of obligations.
  • Ensure all reporting data is accurate, current and maintained on a daily basis.
  • Assist with the preparation of briefings and technical position papers as required, and provide other administrative support as necessary.
  • Provide leadership to Property Branch staff, including coaching, capability development and problem solving.

Knowledge required
The applicant will have demonstrated experience in:

  • Data collaboration, analysis and reporting;
  • Report/brief writing;
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders; and
  • High level organisational skills including an ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities and meet deadlines.

The applicant will be able to:

  • Manage and organise work in the context of competing priorities;
  • Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing to stakeholders; and

Mandatory Requirements:

  • The successful candidate will be required to have (or be able to obtain and maintain) Baseline clearance.
