About the organisation:
Chandler Macleod are proud to partner with a major State Government body that leads the delivery of education and development services Victorians of all ages. They are seeking a highly skilled candidate to join their high-performing L&D team on an initial 4 month contract.

About the role:
The Senior Learning Designer will work within a division of the organisation is responsible for designing and implementing high quality, interactive and engaging learning programs.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Establish and manage governance arrangements, processes, project control boards and working groups
  • Monitor consistent project/program reporting and communicate to relevant decion-makers and parties
  • Make objective decisions regarding projects, in accordance with a considered evaluation of a project's ability to meet business needs.
  • Diagnose trends, obstacles and opportunities in the internal and external environment
  • Formulate strategies that are aligned to community/stakeholders needs and future needs
  • Appraise investment options and make recommendations by examining the benefits and risks involved in proceeding with a decision
  • Create stakeholder management plans using analysis of their influence and interests
  • Manage relationships with and between program or project stakeholders




About you:

  • Ideally you will have relevant education and experience in a similar role under Australian rules and regulations, as well as:
  • Fully vaccinated to be able to work in the office
  • Demonstrate a high level of expertise, initiative, experience and knowledge in learning design, digital design, and evidence informed research, data and evaluation
  • Possess strong analytical and communication skills, demonstrate adaptive expertise and be flexible to rapid change
  • Effectively use a range of references and professional networks to conduct specific research and monitors external sources and identifies underlying trends
  • Use analytical skills and creative ideas to reason through problems
  • Accept constructive criticism in an objective manner and cope effectively with setbacks
  • Persevere to achieve goals
