- Traditional generalist role, Current projects – Time & Attendance, Workforce Planning
- To drive strategic Business Partnership initiatives across the business to achieve the Strategic goals of HR in support of the wider business deliverables.
- This will include providing professional advice in relation to all HR and IR facets resulting in the delivery of exceptional customer support and engagement.
- Proactive and insightful guidance and coaching will be provided to business leaders to ensure employee interactions are professional and engaging.
- Fully utilise Change Management approaches to ensure sustainable and embedding of initiatives
- Develop and implement a People Plan and gap analysis to address people priorities, issues, and challenges to enable departmental business strategies
- Provide HR Technical Knowledge involving implementing HR Operational Strategies into practical business solutions and designing and implementing change management approaches to embed initiatives into the business
- Be closely aligned to the business –to understand their issues and prepare HR actions to address them. Actively build strong relationships and engage with all levels of employee across the business.
- Understand and prioritise business needs, and translate them into HR actions, and then ensure strong and sustainable delivery
- Proactively engage with business to understand needs from internal customers’ perspective and provide integrated solutions
- Develop HR Policies, processes, and workflows to drive business efficiency and transparency. Manage end to end recruitment process for your respective Departments – including managing the appropriate vendor(s) to agreed Service Level Agreement standards
- Provide sound IR advice - Coach and support business leaders in IR issues ensuring practical, commercial solutions are determined
- Build managers’ ownership of the management of their people, including coaching at a senior level
- Partner with the business to understand key decisions and develop and monitor metrics to support these. Analyse information to extract meaning and provide recommendations to the business in relation to key people KPIs to enable effective decision making. Proactively identify challenges and develop solutions to address.
- Lead, significant change initiatives that lift team and individual performance and meet strategic plan requirements
- Measure the effectiveness of initiatives and use customer feedback to drive service improvements
- Provide advice to Managers on compensation and benefits. Co-ordinate the annual salary review and bonus processes.
- Lead & take ownership of HR initiatives which derive from the Annual HR Calendar – developing solutions to address the milestone deliverables and managing change and communications to maximize impact
- Participate in implementation of structural change, ensuring sound change processes are adopted Influence, advise, and educate Leaders in people and performance related issues and coach them to deliver key messages to their teams
- Work closely with Leaders and Individual Contributors to improve work relationships, build engagement and increase productivity and retention
- Partner with the client group and internal L&D team to drive initiatives to meet the needs of the client group. Actively participate in facilitating workshop sessions to deliver L&D outcomes
- Mentor and guide the HR Staff to be motivated and efficient to deliver effective HR solutions as one team
- Active participation in career development of HR staff in and motivate the team to stretch the boundaries in order to add values to the businesses;
- Integrate new staff for, and coach them in culture and HR strategies, policies, processes and practices.
- Exchange best practice with other HR teams/staff across the region and regionally building effective networks
- Manage the Talent process to ensure employees are identified and supported regarding talent management and development needs
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from university – preferably in Business, Human Resources, Legal type area; Twelve years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write and edit reports and correspondence and develop compelling presentation material. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
- Word Processing, Excel, Lotus Notes, SAP – Success Factors, Experience with PC imaging software, Advanced knowledge of MS Office & Lotus Notes applications
