Our client is listed on the ASX. They are an Investment and Superannuation platform provider offering transaction and reporting solutions for all types of investors.

This role is a 6 month fixed term contract with the view of extension and going permanent. You will be responsible for working in the project space and managing the successful delivery of successor fund transfer moving clients from one super fund to another.

You must have experience working with large scale transitions from end to end and have experience liaising and completing regulatory reporting with APRA and ATO.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and project manage transition and restructure activities end to end
  • Monthly reconciliations across super and pension accounts
  • Prepare quarterly reports as required by the fund Trustee
  • Prepare quarterly and annual APRA Returns
  • Liaise with the Trustee and the fund auditors to ensure the annual financial statements and APRA returns are signed and lodged within statutory deadlines.
  • Liaise with and co-ordinate custodians, investment managers, financial institutions and other external stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely completion of client data and asset transitions.
  • Ensure appropriate levels of governance are applied to the implementation of all transition activities.
  • Manage a data analyst to assist with your day to day tasks.


Experience:

  • Preferred 5+ years in a Superannuation Fund Manager
  • Experience working with Acurity is highly regarded
  • Knowledge of Compliance and Legal & Regulatory requirements within the wealth management industry.
  • Experience in Superannuation products or platforms.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to engage with management, business, and other support partners where warranted.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise competing demands and achieve objectives.
