Your new role
Under the guidance of the Team Leader Survey and Design, you will be part of a diverse team, with a broad range of knowledge and skills, and a project pipeline varied in content and complexity.

In this role you will work to deliver Council's provision of engineering design and drafting services by preparing high quality designs, timely construction drawings, estimates and specifications for civil infrastructure works, whilst maintaining an utmost focus on safety in design.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have a genuine drive to work in partnership with colleagues, stakeholders and community to achieve positive outcomes by utilising your relevant skills and experience in civil and municipal project works combined with extensive knowledge of computer aided design, drafting and modelling software, in particular 12d Model, AutoCAD or BricsCAD.

Other important must have's

  • Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum ten (10) years' relevant project work experience
  • Current Class C Drivers Licence
  • Competent report writing skills
