Our client, one of Australia's leading resources companies, is seeking to engage a Perth-based Senior Electrical Project Engineer | Project Manager; the role falls within the Asset, Maintenance and Reliability business units, NPI Projects team that provides brownfields project delivery services.

The role will report to the NPI Projects EIC Project Manager and will be accountable for execution delivery of a Borefield electrification project (10km 33kV OHL from Power Station with RMU addition, ~10km OHL spurs, Pole tops and kiosks to electrify borefields) to the value of $15M.


The application will be required to finalise capital execution request and will be accountable for delivery of scope, budget, schedule and stakeholder engagement.


The NPI projects team has access to in-house support services including cost control, scheduling, engineering and onsite project supervision.

Skills & Qualifications?

* Degree qualifications in Electrical Engineering
* 10 years working in a Senior Project Engineering/Management capacity on mining
* Prior involvement in borefield electrifiation projects on power stations highly regarded
* Ability to lead and influence behaviours throughout all levels of the Project; including the management of Contractors
* Ability to problem solve and assist with making practical decisions in a high stress environment
* Ability to manage your time well, prioritize works and structure work efficiently and effectively
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills
