The Company:
Our client provides full project service from concept to completion that includes design, manufacture, site construction/installation, project management and commissioning and due to significant growth they are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join the team in either Rockhampton or Emerald locations.

Experience within one or more of the following industries is ideal; Hard Rock/Coal Mining, Renewable Energy Systems, Recycling and Manufacturing Plants, Industrial Electrical Design or Public Sector Facilities (e.g - Council assets)

The Role:
  • Onsite Electrical inspections and audits
  • prepare technical specifications and calculations for distribution equipment, control systems and electrical protection settings
  • Management of a variety of multi-discipline projects
  • Liaising with key stakeholders (internal and external) and at times onsite
  • Problem Solving with electrical systems and develop plant modifications to address identified issues
  • Prepare and check engineering designs, proposals, standards and operational guides with other disciplines
  • Provide supervisory and technical assistance for any on-site installation and commissioning work
Your Background:
  • Project experience from concept to completion (Ideally multidiscipline projects)
  • A Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Electrical Design
  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications
  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience working to and with Australian Standards
  • Experience in the operation of POWERCAD or equivalent software
  • Site data collection experience (recording and documenting projects)
  • CPEng, RPEQ or White Card highly favourable
