Summary :
The Senior Cyber Security Architect provides security advice for the design, build and test of digital health systems to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of all information assets.
About the Agency:
The Australian Digital Health Agency is responsible for national digital health services and systems, with a focus on engagement, innovation and clinical quality and safety. Our focus is on putting data and technology safely to work for patients, consumers and the healthcare professionals who look after them.

About the Role:

  • Manage delivery of security products and services by internal delivery teams and external providers.
  • Identify and incorporate appropriate security measures in the development of ICT projects and the information security program.
  • Develop and maintain the security architecture for the Agency's systems and services.
  • Guide the selection of appropriate strategies to mitigate security risks.
  • Coach or supervise junior staff members as required
  • Recommend strategic directions for area of responsibility and consider wider agency implications when making decisions.
  • Follow all Agency policies, procedures and instructions and take reasonable care for your own health, safety, and wellbeing in the workplace.

Skills and Experience:

  • Background in security requirements analysis, security architecture or security operations
  • Understanding of project delivery and/or risk management.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to advise stakeholders on business and technical matters.
  • Ability to work autonomously and be accountable for outcomes.
  • Knowledge of cyber security best practices and Australian Government security standards.
  • Tertiary qualifications in ICT security and ICT management, demonstrated equivalence through work experience, or professional ICT certifications.
  • Requirement to obtain and maintain relevant national policy check, and security clearance in which Australian Citizenship is a condition of eligibility.
