About the organisation:
Chandler Macleod is proudly partnering with a government organisation that is tasked with rectifying higher risk apartment buildings assessed through a Victorian Auditing agency. There are opportunities available in Melbourne CBD.

About the role:
The Senior Customer Liaison Officer will act as the primary interface between the organisation and building owners, while the organisation assists with the rectification of combustible cladding.
The nature of the role is act as the Account Manager, liaise and confidently communicate unsatisfactory outcomes with stakeholders.

Some responsibilities include:
  • Liaising with primary stakeholder groups including industry participants, building practitioners and consumers
  • Engage with the community and other stakeholders, forming solid relationships to promote mutually beneficial outcomes in highly emotive environment.
  • Link owners and residents with the right supporting materials, technical information, and expertise in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Represent the agency at public and external meetings and community forums.
  • Actively monitor and report on progress of each building site in your building portfolio through the rectification process.
  • Maintain effective records management including databases and template documents.

About you:

Ideally you will have relevant education and experience in a similar role under Australian rules and regulations, as well as:
  • Fully vaccinated to be able to work in the office
  • High level experience of Microsoft Office and databases
  • Ability to confidently have difficult conversations with stakeholders
  • Can provide relevant practical and procedural knowledge
  • Communicate effectively with excellent verbal and written skills
  • Attention to detail to be able to seek and compile information and reporting
  • Work proactively within a team and individually
  • Use lateral thinking to generate options and implement solutions
