We are currently recruiting for a senior coordinator- Financial Compliance for our client, a NSW Government agency based in Sydney. This is an initial 4 month contract with possibility of extension with a pay rate of $650pd + super. This role is provides flexibility with WFH options.

The purpose of this role is joining an established and professional team.

Skills required:

  • Strong project reporting and analytical skills and the ability to work in complex environments with competing priorities
  • Experience with MS Office and Business Analytics software
  • Understand agile project methodology and government processes
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

    Key accountabilities:
  • Undertake technical and compliance activities
  • Prepare, present and review evidence, reports and submissions to make appropriate recommendations to inform decision making
  • Provide expert technical and operational advice on the relevant legislation to ensure compliance
  • Participate in committees, working groups and forums and provide advice regarding significant developments, critical milestones, and identification of options to meet compliance objectives
  • Maintain statistical data, records information management, and outcomes and undertake analysis to provide timely and accurate reporting of compliance activities undertaken to inform progress against targets and service delivery outcomes
  • Identify emerging trends and issues, recommend and contribute to the development and review of technical and operational policies, procedures, documents and interventions to optimise service delivery
  • Communicate effectively and provide timely expert advice and support to key internal and external stakeholders
