Our client is an Australian-based multi-disciplined engineering design consultancy firm who work on award-winning architectural complex projects both in Australia and abroad.

About the Role

The Senior Civil Engineer will be working on projects in Australia and Overseas and is an effective team player that strives for self-autonomy. They will provide civil engineering design and project management input and will assist in driving the growth for the business in the region as well as leading and developing team members locally in addition to a small team located internationally.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent and RPEQ accreditation (or desire to obtain)
  • Experience in a civil consultancy in South East Queensland
  • Demonstrated expertise in both single allotment & subdivision projects
  • Exposure to projects with the following authorities - BCC, LCC, ICC, RCC, Urban Utilities, Unity Water
  • Software Knowledge - AutoCAD, Civil3D, & Civil Site Design, along with exposure to QGIS, DRAINS, & MUSIC
  • Understanding of industry standards and best practices
  • Proven record of producing high-quality documentation
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build strong client relationships

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparation of documentation for Erosion & Sediment Control, Roadworks & Drainage, Water & Sewerage Reticulation Design;
  • Residential & Commercial Infrastructure Development (Built-form);
  • Subdivision & Land Development;
  • Site visits;
  • Deliver increasingly high-quality documentation, through persistence and learning from mistakes; &,
  • Contribute to & enjoy a collaborative, positive & supportive work environment.
