Our client is seeking to engage a Senior Change Manager on a contract for 6 months with potential extension.

Position Overview

The Program is the divestment program of the financial advice business and are divesting the business through to a strategic partner. The partner is insurance business but has moved into the advice business and extended their service offering to also include advise. The program very much is focused on transitioning customer and people across to the partner to establish their financial planning business which is called Financial wellbeing. This was announced to the market in July and effectively the program is looking for a Senior change manager to support with the transition of that work. It would involve all the normal change functions that is required on any program. A strong change practitioner is the minimum requirement for this position. Within the change function for the program, we have a change director in place. This role is a senior manager for change. In addition to the change team, there is also a change manager and a change analyst in the team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Senior Change manager needs to have an experience in running small programs. They should be able to manage conversation with senior stakeholders both internal and external. Internal stakeholders are GM across functional business lines, HR, Finance, Risk as well as the business line and external would be Counter parties. They need to have experience in being able to drive the work themselves. The expectation as a senior leader is that they often work with the new content and they need to be able to perform the change impact assessment and be able to capture that within change impact document. They also then would need to work through appropriate solutions or course of action. The Senior Change manager needs to be very effective in documenting and managing governance.
