We are looking for 2 x Senior Change Leads to join a Big 4 bank located in Sydney CBD for an initial 6-month contract, likely to extend.

The Senior Change Leads will play critical roles in helping to deliver the organisations Program of Action in partnership with the Financial Crime Compliance team. The program is designed to execute enhancements and uplifts to the Group's Financial Crime Compliance control environment, to ensure the Group's leading practice in disrupting financial crime.

1 x Senior Change Lead (Customer Risk Assessment, High-Risk Customers and Offboarding) - this role has 1 direct report

  • This is a highly technical piece of work which will deliver a new CRA model to enable the decommissioning of two existing models
  • A new Customer Risk Assessment target operating model will also be introduced
  • Someone who is comfortable assessing downstream impacts across systems and experience in implementation and embedding of target operating models would be ideal
  • The Senior Change Lead will also have 1 direct report and will be accountable for ensuring that the changes are delivered in line with the Group Delivery Framework standards
  • The offboarding work is all about designing and delivering improvements to the customer offboarding process, for customers who have breached the Group's appetite in relation to AML and CTF

1 x Senior Change Lead (KYC Remediation and Part B Policy Implementation) - this role has 1 direct report

  • This work relates to uplifting our customers "Know Your Customer" information - we have circa 400K customers which we need to complete this work for. It is a remediation piece of work and one of the most critical that we get right without it having a detrimental impact on the customer experience
  • This work involves lots of engagement with key front line impacted teams and needs someone who is a meticulous planner
  • Part B relates to the implementation of policy updates and will involve engagement of various stakeholders from across the group, especially Line 1 and Line Financial Crime teams; exceptional writing skills are key
  • The Senior Change Lead will also have 1 direct report and will be accountable for ensuring that the changes are delivered in line with the Group Delivery Framework standards


Core Skills and Attributes:

  • Experience in Senior Change Management roles, ideally with a solid understanding of regulatory change from the Banking & Finance industry or with a consulting company.
  • Experience working for large complex organisations
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to work within an ambiguous environment to drive positive outcomes
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
