This large Utilities provider is currently undergoing a large SAP business system implementation and are looking for an experienced Change Manager.

The Change Lead will play a key role in ensuring the project meets its objectives on time and on budget by increasing employee adoption and usage. The key focus will be on the people side of change, including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures. This person will oversee a small change team and will assist in the design and facilitation of training, communications and business readiness as required.

Key responsibilities:

  • Developing change management plans
  • Evaluating the impact of planned organisational change
  • Identifying the risks and developing risk mitigation tactics
  • Identifying and managing anticipated resistance to change
  • Leading a small change management team, with a structured methodology / process
  • Supporting development of communications relevant to change initiatives
  • Defining success metrics and measuring performance against these
  • Providing reporting and other updates to management and the project team
  • Support training by reviewing, developing and helping to manage the facilitation of training programs when required.


    Key Skills and Experience
  • Professional qualifications in HR and/or Change Management
  • At least 5 years' professional level experience in change management
  • Experience working on a large SAP program in a change management role, including organisational design, process improvement, job design, system changes, and communications
  • Leadership skills and ability to manage a small team
  • Experience in completing change impacts assessment from current to future state
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to facilitate groups and present to audiences
  • Proven ability to engage with and manage relationships with senior business stakeholders
  • Proven ability to work well in a team
