We are looking for Senior Catering Assistants in the Northern Suburbs who are available to commence across Day and Afternoon shifts. Our client is a leading and successful food manufacturing giant supplying meals in to many of the globes major Airlines.

As a Senior Catering Assistant you will be working along side the chefs doing food preparation. All relevant training to be provided on site. This is a casual role with full-time hours and has the opportunity to progress to perm depending on performance and reliability.

This is ongoing and regular work with full-time hours on a rotating AM/PM weekly roster which is provided in advance. We are looking to recruit reliable and hardworking candidates to add to our amazing team. Additionally there is potential to be trained as a Junior Catering Chef, this is a great opportunity for those wanting to expand their careers.

Day Shift 7am to 3pm $27+
Afternoon Shift 3pm to 11pm $31+
Saturdays $40+
Sundays $54+

Overtime Rates according to Award after 38 hours a week and 7.6 hours a day.

With onsite parking and a free breakfast and lunch buffet.

This role involves, but is not limited to, the following:
  • Food handling & plating of meals
  • Assisting Chefs in the kitchen
  • Fast paced food production/preparation tasks
  • Repetitive manual handling
  • General cleaning

    To be successful for this opportunity you will ideally have:
  • Certificate 3 or higher in Commercial Cookery
  • Recent and relevant experience in food manufacturing environments
  • Flexibility to work day shift and afternoon shift
  • The ability to be on call for extra/OT shifts
  • Reliable car and license
  • Full working rights and availability
  • Proven reliability and work ethic
