Our client, a large government department, requires a Senior Capability and Deployment Partner to join their team on an initial 12-month contract, with possibility of 12-month extension. This role will be based in Surry Hills and pay $51.50 per hour + Superannuation.

The Senior Capability and Deployment Partner works to deliver comprehensive capability and learning programs aimed at enhancing organisational capability, building leadership effectiveness and equipping our frontline staff with the essentials skills to deliver a quality experience for our scheme participants.

The role proactively engages with stakeholders across the Agency to understand learning needs, opportunities and challenges, supports design, deploys national capability learning solutions and conducts evaluation processes to measure learning impact and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage capability and learning projects from inception to completion and contribute to the achievement of business outcomes
  • Conduct organisational, functional and individual needs analysis activities to identify the skills and knowledge needed to perform identified job roles competently
  • Deliver a range of learning programs which cover the employee lifecycle including core and technical skills, IT systems, compliance programs and leadership courses using a variety of delivery modes, including but not limited to workshops, coaching, communities of practice, digital and virtual learning
  • Work with the team to design new courses and or improvements to existing learning curriculum to ensure that the team develops knowledge, skills and ability across a range of curriculum offerings
  • Provide feedback to dedicated design team on course design and content

Key Requirements:

  • Understanding of or lived experience in the field of disability is highly advantageous
  • Training delivery experience across the full learning and development lifecycle
  • Previous government experience is essential

The successful candidate will support new and existing staff with their ongoing capability and learning needs through the delivery of blended learning solutions and will be comfortable utilising multiple deployment methods, including but not limited to workshops, coaching, communities of practice, digital and virtual learning.
