We are a financial services firm located in Edgecliff that services high net worth individuals, who usually have a trust account, some investment properties, super, managed investments and insurances . We provide providing a full service offering including Financial Planning and accounting.

Our client focuses on medical professionals, predominately tax compliance work.

Role and responsibility:
  • BAS, Tax and preparation of financial statements
  • Prepare Payment Summary reconciliations, payroll tax returns and FBT Returns for Clients when required.
  • Direct contact with Clients (subject to Nominees consent), bank employees and third parties regarding queries in the preparation of all returns and financial statements.
  • Handling tax department audits, enquiries and correspondence on Client behalf in accordance with a Nominees consent and instructions.
  • Check assessments and draft assessment letters.
  • To advise Nominee(s) of possible investment opportunities for Clients in the area of superannuation and the possibility of disability insurance and Life insurance as detected when preparing Income Tax Returns.
  • Other projects as required
Requirements:
  • The successful candidate will have at least 4 years professional accounting practice experience
  • CA/CPA qualified
  • Outstanding relationship and communication skills are also essential as the role requires extensive contact with your client base.
  • We are open to career progression into management or directorship
