Our client is seeking to engage a Senior Accountant on a permanent, full time role.
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Preparing financial statements and tax returns for a diverse range of clients including Companies, Superannuation Funds, Trusts, Partnerships and Individuals.
  • Preparing Accounts and associated work-papers / statutory returns, including BAS, IAS and FBT
  • Researching and interpreting Tax legislation.
  • Assisting Managers and Partners with business advisory engagements.
  • Assisting in managing a portfolio of clients – autonomously liaising directly with clients and being the main point of contact for client queries.
  • Overall, you will provide a premium service to our valued clients in a supportive team environment.
Our Ideal Candidate:
  • CA/CPA qualifications or close to completion
  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Up to date knowledge of taxation legislation
  • Strong communication and IT skills
  • Practical, common-sense approach and a “can-do’ attitude
