Fast track your way into mining as a Dump Truck Operator

Chandler Macleod are seeking competent and experienced civil operators to fast track into permanent Dump Truck Operator roles at a mine site near Muswellbrook.

This program is targeted at operators who have experience in operating plant and equipment on or around a mine site or have operated large mechanical or electric vehicles on a civil site and would like the opportunity to gain the skill of operating rigid dump trucks in an open cut pit.

The training program typically runs for around 4-6 weeks onsite training in dump trucks up to 260 tonne!

What is on offer;
  • 12.5 hour shifts
  • be paid to train
  • 4/5/5 lifestyle rotating roster
  • An Onsite Team with 24hr support

What do you need?
  • Experience operating machinery and equipment on or around a mine site or trucks of size 785 or larger
  • Certificates of competency to validate your experience
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test
  • Live within the fatigue zone - 60 minutes travel time to the Muswellbrook area or be willing to relocate at your own expense
