Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage a Security Administration Officer on a contract for 12 Months, with potential extensions of 2X 12 months.

Position Overview

  • Administration (Printing, filing, and ordering) of correspondence.
  • Vetting of personal data relating to pre-engagement security checks.
  • Processing security clearance forms with the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency.
  • Organising emails through a centralised mailing list.
  • Frequent data entry (interpreting handwritten information and entering into computer-based fields) with attention to detail.
  • Advanced checking of forms for completeness.
  • Hastening outstanding information; and
  • Other basic security monitoring and reporting duties as directed.

Our Ideal Candidate will have:

  • Sound computer skills
  • Sound communication and organisation skills.
  • Demonstrated personal drive, initiative, maturity, integrity, and tact.
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in relation to sensitive issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform well in a small team, meet deadlines with attention to detail.
  • Prior experience in Australian Government vetting activities

Mandatory Requirements:

  • The successful candidate will be required to have an NV1 clearance.
  • Certificate IV in Security Vetting or equivalent qualification.
