About the Role
Reporting directly to the Group Leader Community and Cultural Services, the Section Leader Community Planning and Engagement is responsible for providing leadership, strategic direction, community engagement, planning delivery and overseeing the operational management of the Community Planning and Engagement Section to achieve the vision and the objectives of the MyCoffs Community Strategic Plan.

About you
To be successful in this role, you will be a highly motivated, passionate and results-driven senior leader who has proven experience leading and managing diverse teams within a corporate, government or commercial setting. You will be a lateral thinker and be capable of proactively managing a strategic engagement plan as well as develop and implement operational plans to ensure stakeholder relationships and business outcomes are optimised and risk is minimised.

It is essential that you are collaborative and possess exceptional communication skills which enables you to effectively tailor messages for communities based on their needs and create and deliver a proactive narrative around programs and initiatives. Your key to success will be ensuring effective participation from diverse community groups in order to build trust, balance expectations and influence in an ever- changing environment.
In this role you will be a proven thought leader and draw upon your visionary and dynamic leadership skills to grow, lead and inspire direction and purpose within your team, as well as possess tertiary qualifications at degree level in a relevant field.
