Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage an APS4 Section Co-Ordinator on a contract for 24 months.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for ETQA section for any testing related correspondence ensuring high level of service to all staff and external parties by establishing effective working relationships.
  • Coordinating meetings with internal and external stakeholders and ensuring the leadership team has all required information for meetings.
  • Engaging with section staff and fostering a strong team focus.
  • Preparing and/or quality assuring general correspondence and less complex documentation in accordance with departmental guidelines.
  • Initiating and ordering supplies and equipment, coordinating, collecting and analysing information.
  • Developing appropriate systems, procedures and controls within the section in line with the ETQA process and framework.
  • Actively respond to any coordination requests by due date ensuring appropriate clearances have been adhered to.
  • Organising, scheduling and coordinating all travel arrangements, accommodation and supporting documentation.
  • Assisting with coordinating section/branch administrative tasks (e.g. phone lists, leave register, work from home arrangement register, property, and accommodation).
  • Assist with security clearance applications/reporting including initial, renewals and transfers.
  • Assist with contract extensions to ensure accurate and timely contract management of staff, vendors and service providers.
  • Assist in organising, scheduling and coordinating interviews, internal/external meetings and section agenda with measurable outcomes.

Skills & Experience:

  • Prior experience in undertaking an administrative function with minimal application/software testing knowledge in the government department.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • The successful candidate will be required to have a Baseline security clearance.
