Our client is a leading retailer of natural gas and electricity to residential and commercial customers across WA. Currently they are looking for a new addition to their inside sales team to prospect for new clients. Typically, you will be targeting commercial and industrial clients through outbound tele-sales activities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Actively following up on leads generated
  • Identify and prospect new natural gas and electricity contracts for small business customers
  • Build a pipeline through registering leads
  • Review sale plans and strategies to increase future opportunities
  • Measure effectiveness of sales approach and monitor conversions
  • Provide monthly reporting
  • Keep up to date on products and competitor activity
  • Provide a positive customer experience

About you

The ideal candidate will bring a sound knowledge of the energy sector or related utilities/telco/insurance industries. A proven track record in telephone-based sales or customer service with a drive and passion to succeed in a competitive market is key.
We are seeking high performing individuals with strong communication and negotiation skills who can influence and close.
A good commercial acumen will help you to succeed in this role and the ability to listen and adapt to change will come naturally to you.
