Sales Coordinator
ASAP start for the right candidate
Offering either full time Monday to Friday (8am to 4pm) or part time (5 days, 9.30-2.30pm)
Rate: $30.14 per hour
Located in Springvale
Temp to perm opportunity available

Our client is currently seeking a temporary Sales Coordinator to support their sales and warehouse team located in Springvale.

PURPOSE OF ROLE
Provide support to Motive Power Sales and Service team and the Network Power Sales Manager. Build strong customer relations whilst enhancing the reputation of the company as an ethical supplier of quality products. Be customer focused and customer driven to ensure all sales are delivered on time and to the customers' requirements.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES:
-Timely processing of customer orders and enquiries.
-Process sales enquiries in full, or assign lead and follow-up the dedicated State Sales Leader.
-Answer all incoming Industrial telephone inquiries, ensuring they are directed to the appropriate person to assist them.
-Ensure all Industrial batteries leaving the warehouse are correctly invoiced to the customer and meet all requirements requested on the order sheet.
-Enter into the JDE system all documentation with regard to sales and receipting of stock.
-Data entry for all sales and raising local requisitions for materials to complete orders.
-Keep sales force informed of any changes to customer delivery times, as soon as these become apparent.
-Coordinate and forecast sales orders from the Open Orders Report.
-Oversee and assist outbound stock movements both in and out, ensure all paperwork completed and authorised for payment.
-Maintain accurate data sheets and records for all products dispatched and received.
-Assist with quarterly stock takes as directed.
-Generate master forms for all new products so they are properly and accurately recorded on the database.
-Be responsible for keeping the State Sales Manager informed of all activities within the Production/Sales area.
-Be proficient and dedicated to the task of battery management, warehousing, distribution and assembly

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCES
-Solutions-based sales and service approach, with the ability to work under pressure to meet customer requests.
-Strong communication and organisation skills and the ability to be a team player.
-Customer service and sales support experience.
-Demonstrated intermediate to advanced working knowledge of Gsuite, Excel and Word.
-Experience in JD Edwards, preferred but not essential.
-Knowledge of electrical components, industrial batteries and/or technical sales/parts interpretation highly regarded, but not essential.
